Welcome back to Engager Live, your go-to weekly show for all things Engager! This is a recap of the session that took place on 30th October, and it was packed with valuable insights, exciting updates, and practical tips to make your practice management more efficient. If you missed it, here’s a comprehensive recap of what we covered.
New Feature Updates: Making Your Workflow Smoother
Our team has been busy implementing improvements to keep Engager working smarter for you. Here are the latest updates, set to go live this Monday night:
- Import Year-End Dates: You can now add year-end dates for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies directly via the import sheet.
- Customise Business Start Date: A new tick box allows you to mark business start dates as “not applicable.” This prevents blank fields from being flagged unnecessarily in your client summaries.
- Redesigned Export Tool: The client data export tool has a sleeker, more user-friendly interface. You can now collapse categories and select entire sections with one click.
- Export Phase Information: You can export detailed information for phases, including annual fees, one-off fees, and custom fields.
These updates are all about streamlining your processes and reducing friction, helping you focus on what matters most—your clients.
Budget Email Workflow: Communicate Fast, Stay Relevant
One of the standout moments was a walkthrough of how to quickly inform your clients about budget updates. Here’s how to replicate it:
- Prepare Your Notes: During the live budget announcement, jot down key points relevant to your clients. Supplement these with summaries from reliable sources like the BBC.
- Draft an Email Template: Keep the tone neutral, focus on facts, and avoid political commentary. Highlight key changes such as minimum wage increases, tax adjustments, and relevant allowances.
- Use Engager’s Bulk Email Tool: Select your entire client list (or filter by a specific service like payroll) and send a personalised message in just minutes.
This efficient process allowed one of our users to email hundreds of clients with tailored budget insights in under 15 minutes!
