AML checks and risk assessments, built into Engager
Risk assess every client, see who owns and runs each company, and run AML ID and biometric checks, all from the client record.
Coming soon to Engager. Join our free webinar on Thursday 19 November 2026 at 2pm to see it first.

What’s coming
AML in Engager
Everything you need for client due diligence, in the same place as the rest of the client’s work.
Client risk assessments
Answer yes, no or N/A to questions on client, geography, products and services, and transaction risk. Engager calculates the initial risk for each section and an overall risk level, from Low to High.
Record your mitigation steps, set a revised risk where you need to, then complete, review and approve the assessment with a next review date.

Company ownership structure
For companies, Engager draws an ownership chart from Companies House data, showing the officers and people with significant control, with their share of ownership.
Turn on filings monitoring to be told when the company’s Companies House data changes.

AML ID checks
Run an electronic AML ID check on an individual in four steps: risk profile, client details, address and check, then the result.
Record how you met the client and which identity and address documents you have seen, so the reasoning sits with the check.

Biometric ID checks
Choose the biometric check that fits: identity verification for onboarding, with or without a request for proof of address, or checks for Companies House identity verification.

Firm-wide compliance
Start from the default client risk assessment template or create your own versions, and assign them to client types such as limited companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.
Find guidance on your firm-wide risk assessment, internal controls, enhanced due diligence and staff training, and set a countdown to your next AML review.
